Please reach us at PawPackBC@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Paw Pack is based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. While we adopt province-wide, you must be able to view and pick up your dog from the home of our fosters who are located in the Lower Mainland.
Simply put, our primary focus is on getting to know the dogs in our care prior to adopting them out to families. We are always transparent regarding the dog's personality to ensure a good fit for both the dog and the family. Paw Pack's dogs are placed in local foster homes prior to adoption so we can learn their personality traits and work on any issues, if any. We also stand behind our dogs 100%. If at any time the match is no longer working, we will gladly take the dog back, reassess, and find a proper placement with a new family.
Please fill out an application if you are interested in any of our available dogs. If the rescue determines that you are a good fit for the dog you applied for, we will contact you for a phone interview and set up a meet and greet. If you decide you would like to adopt the dog after meeting them and speaking to the foster family,, we will do a home check to ensure it is a good environment for the dog. Should we determine it's a good match for the family and dog, you will be approved to adopt.
Yes, you are welcome to apply for more than one dog. If you are not called for the particular dog that you applied for, please do not hesitate to apply again. We are always updating the site with great dogs who need loving homes.
Applications will typically be reviewed within a few days of receipt. You can expect to hear from us within a week if the rescue determine you may be the best fit for the dog you are interested in.. If you are not called for the particular dog you applied for, we encourage you to continue checking our website for other dogs who may be a good fit for your home.
The adoption fees vary between $600-$850. In full transparency, the adoption fee will be disclosed to you before we start the interview process.
All dogs are given the 4dx test and tested for heart worm, giardia, parvo, distemper, coronavirus, and influenza. In addition to these tests, they are vaccinated with DHPPL, rabies, kennel cough, coronavirus, and influenza. Our dogs are also microchipped and sterilized prior to adoption. We will also include a properly fitted harness and leash for the dog.
Paw Pack is always looking for experienced fosters to help look after our dogs while they are waiting for their forever homes. Please click this link to get more information on fostering.
